"It's raining these days. I worry about those old houses in the village." said anxiously Feng Baofang, a cadre of the Shangfu village in Tashan work area of Fotang, several days before, who found a collapsed house when she was visiting farmers. The owner was not at home and she called him, telling him to live with his daughter or son for some days. She then searched and inspected other decrepit houses with other village cadres, and finally transferred those families.

　　Along with Into Villages and Enterprises, all cadres in Fotang should arrange their time during work and, according to the distribution plan for work points, go into each administrative village and enterprise to find what's going on there and solve problems. "We want our cadres to master work methods in their visits, find problems and solve them." said Fang Libiao, a member of Fotang's Party Committee and Secretary of Fotang's Discipline Inspection Commission, "And they must combine their daily work with these visits. They also should improve with efforts their abilities to serve the basic level and people and to find problems and solve them."

　　In these activities, all cadres should explain relative policies and requirements to farmers and enterprises about those problems they care about, according to this work idea, "Visit, Discover, Explain, Search and Feedback"; distribute comments, suggestions and problems to relative units and departments and reply in a limit of time. So far, 1,531 families have been visited, 179 problems about new village construction and old village reconstruction have been collected and 6 have been solved, while the rest will be dealt with in next step.  (By Shen Jinlei and Chen Xinyu)
