As one of the vital activities for foreign friends“Experiencing Yiwu”, Aku and over 50 other foreign friends, who come from 35 nations and have stayed in Yiwu for a long time, were invited to visit Yiwu Hospital of TCM and experience the TCM diagnosis cultures there recently. Foreign friends have shown great interest and admiration for the traditional charms displayed by TCM, and for the modernization of local medical institutions.

Along with the advancement of the internationalization of Yiwu city in recent years, the number of foreign friends in Yiwu is rising rapidly, which requires a higher standard of municipal foreign-related management and services. The first of all the related work is to promote the international medical treatment as well as international insurance services. 

According to the Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission, their next step in the work is to provide high-standard medical health services for foreign friends by organizing and implementing JCI review, hiring foreign medical experts to undertake volunteering diagnosis, promoting the construction of the international medical center built in the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, and other measures. At the meantime, the Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission and the Municipal Foreign-related Affairs Office have jointly published a “Medical Service Manual for Foreign Friends”in a bilingual edition, so as to facilitate them when seeking medical cares.
