“The project is now fully promoting the construction of the main plant. All the 15 individual buildings are under construction, and there are more than 550 people working on the site every day.” According to the site leader of CHNT, the project is expected to complete the construction of the main plant at the beginning of June, and strive to put it into production at the end of July.

The CHNT project is a high-efficiency photovoltaic cell, module production base and distributed power station project. It is an important achievement of the city’s photovoltaic industry to strengthen the chain. It will further expand the new energy photovoltaic industry of Yiwu and promote the industrial cluster to move forward to the level of more than 100 billion. The project has a total investment of 11.3 billion yuan and a total land area of about 644.99 mu. It is mainly to build a production base of 8 GW high-efficiency N-type photovoltaic cells and 8 GW high-efficiency photovoltaic modules and photovoltaic distributed power stations. The project is expected to have an annual output value of about 12 billion yuan after it is fully put into production.
