On March 20, the Morocco-Yiwu Silk Road Institute was established at the Mondipolis University, a cooperative institution of the Morocco-Yiwu Business School.

The Morocco-Yiwu Silk Road Institute is the third Silk Road Institute established by Yiwu Industrial and Commercial College, following the establishment of the Malaysia-Yiwu Silk Road Institute and Spain-Yiwu Silk Road Institute. The Malaysia-Yiwu Silk Road Institutes was selected as one of the first batch of "Belt and Road" Silk Road Institutes in Zhejiang Province. In the future, the Morocco-Yiwu Silk Road Institute will promote "Chinese language + vocational skills" training based on the "2+1" dual-degree model (2 years of study in Morocco, 1 year of study in China), aiming to serve the economic and trade exchanges as well as cultural communication between the two places.

Currently, China has become Morocco's third largest trading partner, with Chinese companies showing high enthusiasm for investing in Morocco's energy and automotive sectors. The cultural exchange between the two countries is vibrant and diverse.
