On July 21, at 9:00 a.m. local time in Iran, a China-Europe freight train loaded with 100 TEUs of gypsum powder whistled and set off from the Iranian city of Qom to Yiwu, China. The whole transit time was expected to be 15 days. This move marked the opening of a new chapter in the launch of the two-way all-railway China-Europe freight train between China and Iran.

In recent years, Tianmeng Company has actively planned and prepared for the “Qom (Iran) - Yiwu” all-railway return train of China-Europe Express on the basis of the existing railway-seaway multimodal transport. The company arranged the goods in Iran, maintained close communication with the railway departments of various countries along the way, and successfully realized the loading and shipping of 100 TEUs of gypsum powder. The freight train departed from Qom, Iran, passing through Incheboron Station, Turkmenistan’s Saikhtyaka Station, Kazakhstan’s Balajcza Station and Altynkol Station, then entered China from the Horgos port in Xinjiang Province after four times of transshipment, and finally arrived at Yiwu West Railway Station.
