On the afternoon of May 8, Yiwu held the Symposium of Outstanding Youth Representatives from All Walks of Life. Youth representatives from all walks of life in the city gathered together to study and implement the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech and his reply to the members of Volunteer Service Team of the Western Plan for Border Teaching Support in Xieyite Primary School. They freely shared their youthful ideals and discussed their sense of mission and responsibility. Zhu Jianfu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the meeting, which was presided over by Wang Hongxia, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Committee of the CPPCC.

The meeting pointed out that the Communist Youth League (CYL) organizations at all levels should shoulder the mission of cultivating talents for the Party and the country, further strengthen the leading role of the CYL, enhance its organizing capacity, stimulate its service capacity, and increase its contribution. The CYL organizations should unite and lead the vast number of young people to work hard, strive for excellence, and write a glorious chapter of youth on the journey of “constantly forging new paradigms and recreating new glories”.

At the meeting, the principal of the Municipal Committee of the CYL made a speech on “Being Grateful, Forging ahead, Working Hard, and Striving for Excellence to Write a Glorious Chapter of Youth on the Journey of Constantly Forging New Paradigms and Recreating New Glories”, and 7 outstanding youth representatives made exchange speeches.
