Phase-III Industrial Zone of China-Europe Railway Express (Yiwu) Railway Port Started Construction

Recently, the Phase-III Industrial Zone of China-Europe Railway Express (Yiwu) Railway Port officially started construction. This marks another crucial step taken by Yiwu in deeply integrating into the Belt and Road Initiative and serving China’s opening-up strategy.

According to Yiwu International Land Port Group, as a major supporting project for the Provincial “1,000 Trillion-level” Projects and the construction of the Zhejiang China-Europe Railway Express Assembly Center, the project covers a planned land area of about 1,450 mu (1 mu ≈ 666.67 square meters), with a total building area of about 1.14 million square meters and a total investment of about CNY 5.03 billion. It will focus on building functional sections such as the China-Europe Railway Express International Goods Consolidation Area, Smart Warehousing Area, Supporting Service Area, Container Management Center, and Information Service Center. It aims to enhance the assembly, distribution, agglomeration, and integration functions and levels of the China-Europe Railway Express Assembly Center, striving to achieve the best service, the lowest cost, and the highest efficiency.
