Yiting Town, the central town within the ten minutes economic circle of Yiwu, is located in the southwest of Yiwu City, It connects Choujiang Street on the east, Fotang Town on the south, and adjoins Shangxi Town on the North, borders on Xiaoshun Town and Fucun Town, Jindong District, Jinhua City. It also sits at the center of ‘Jin (hua)Yi (wu) Major Axis’ of the Central Zhengjiang city agglomeration. Yiting Town covers an area of 53.6 square kilometers, including 62 administrative villages, 5 neighborhood committees with a total population of 122 thousand (of which the floating population is 68 thousand). With Wuzhou Avenue and Sihai Avenue passing through the Town, Yiting enjoys a very convenient traffic. A junction of Yongjin highway (from Ningbo to Jinhua) is also located within Yiting Town. It takes only 5 minutes for you to reach Jinqu highway junction via Shangfo Road. In 2011, the whole town’s GDP reached 1.963 billion yuan, up 19.9 percent year on year; the gross industrial and agricultural output value added up to 7.782 billion yuan, an increase of 25.8 percent compared with the previous year; the gross financial revenues reached 0.1253 billion yuan, an increase of  22.4 percent than the previous year, the per-capita net income of rural residents amounted to 10,946 yuan,  8.5 percent on preceding year's same period, the investment in fixed assets of the whole society reached 1.004 billion, which completed 126 percent of the number of the tasks assigned by the city.
