On November 21, the Conference on Promoting the Construction of the Belt and Road Initiative in Zhejiang Province was held in Jinhua. On the afternoon of November 21, loaded with 110 TEUs of commodities, Christmas goods, auto parts, machinery and equipment, the Madrid-Yiwu Train (China Railway Express) for the 10th Anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative departed from Yiwu Railway Port and went to Madrid, Spain, which is thousands of miles away from China. This is the 1,496th Madrid-Yiwu Train (China Railway Express) departed from Yiwu platform in 2023.

In recent years, Madrid-Yiwu Train (China Railway Express) has always been focusing on high-quality development and has changed from increasing the quantity to improving the quality. The types of commodities transported are also being upgraded and enriched, expanding gradually from commodities such as daily necessities to high value, high added-value and high-tech products such as automobiles and auto parts, photovoltaic products, machinery and equipment. In the first 10 months of 2023, the import and export value of Madrid-Yiwu Train (China Railway Express) supervised by Yiwu Customs amounted to 31.59 billion yuan with a year-on-year increase of 16.4% and nine years of continuous growth. In addition, we also run special trains including Cross-border E-commerce Trains, Photovoltaic Trains, Geely Auto Trains, China Post Trains, Chunli Tea Trains, Central Asia Imported Cotton Yarn Trains, CMEC New Energy Trains to provide safe, efficient and stable transportation services according to the market demand. We have launched the reform of Multimodal Transport One Waybill System and the Materialization of Railroad Waybills to provide strong financial support for the majority of business merchants, foreign trade companies and other foreign trade market players. In 2023, the total amount of credit extension to enterprises for financing has exceeded 100 million yuan.
