People’s Government of Zhejiang Province recently issued a notice identifying Yiwu High-tech Industrial Park as a provincial high-tech industrial park. Yiwu City has made another breakthrough after successfully creating a national technology enterprise incubator, a national record maker space, and a provincial agricultural science and technology park.

The park focused on the development of “Electricity to Light” photovoltaic industry and the “Light to Electricity” photovoltaic industry, and has formed a complete intelligent display industry chain. The photovoltaic industry has gathered six of the world’s top chain owners, with 65 GW of module capacity and 83 GW of battery capacity under construction and planning. The actual annual output has reached 35 GW, and the shipments each account for nearly 20% of the global share. Each year, it can add more than 40 billion degrees of green power to the world. At present, the first four enterprises with an annual output value of more than 10 billion yuan have been born in Jinhua. The industrial output value above designated size has exceeded 90 billion yuan, contributing 91.8% to the growth of the city’s industry above designated size, boosting the total output value of Yiwu’s industry above designated size to exceed 100 billion yuan for the first time, and the growth rate of added value ranked first in all counties and cities in the province.
