Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang Province recently announced the assessment results of the provincial economic and information system’s work target responsibility system in 2022, and Yiwu Economic and Information Bureau was rated as the “County (City, District) Advanced Organization”. At the same time, all three sub-indicators of digital economy development, manufacturing investment and intelligent transformation in Yiwu City in the evaluation results of Jinhua are advanced.

Yiwu City made every effort to promote epidemic prevention & control, and worked hard for development, stabilized enterprises and strengthened the main body, smoothed circulation and stabilized industry, and renovated inefficient industrial land in 2022. The industrial economic scale has been greatly improved, the quality has been steadily improved, and the structure has been continuously optimized. The total industrial output value above the designated size has reached 163.9 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 36.5%; The growth rate ranked first among the top 17 counties and cities in the province. The two high-energy platforms of information optoelectronics and green power achieved a total industrial output value of more than 90 billion yuan, doubling year-on-year. In 2022, Yiwu accounted for half of the top ten manufacturing enterprises in Jinhua (Aiko Solar, JA Solar, Jinko Power, Trina Solar, and Risen Energy). The added value of strategic emerging industry, high-tech industry, high-end equipment manufacturing industry and digital economy core industry manufacturing industry were 12.82 billion yuan, 18.32 billion yuan, 10.5 billion yuan and 9.43 billion yuan, with growth rates of 45.6%, 30.2%, 60.2% and 52.7% respectively, all ranking first in Jinhua. The investment in manufacturing industry was 10.52 billion yuan, an increase of 5.4% year-on-year.
