Recently, the list of modern schools in Zhejiang province in 2023 was announced, with a total of 588 schools (kindergartens) in the province approved. Among them,13 schools in total in Yiwu (kindergarten), the Choucheng center kindergarten, Xiuhu kindergarten, the second primary school in Fotang town, Tianxin primary school in Fotang town, the Choucheng third primary school, Jiangwan elementary school, Fotang elementary school in Fotang town,  the Niansanli first primary school, the junior middle school in Yiting town, Xiuhu middle school, the Yiwu third middle school, the community college in Yiting town, and the community college in Shangxi twon, were on the list.

Up to now, there are 33 modern schools in Zhejiang Province in Yiwu, ranking first among all counties (cities and districts) in Jinhua and the forefront in the whole province.
