Recently, in order to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of tourist attractions in Zhejiang Province and create a number of high-level tourist attractions, the 2024 Ten-Million Level Core Scenic Spots Cultivation List has been announced by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture Radio Television and Tourism. Among them, Yiwu International Trade City was selected for the list.

The cultivation of the ten-million level core scenic spots is one of the specific measures to implement the Action Plan for the Transformation and Upgrading of Tourist Attractions in Zhejiang Province (2023-2025). An important indicator for the measurement of ten-million level core scenic spots is that the number of people received at the scenic spots exceeds ten million or the income from tourism exceeds one hundred million yuan. According to the action plan, 50 core scenic spots of ten-million level in Zhejiang Province will be cultivated in three years so as to accelerate the deep integration project of culture and tourism in Zhejiang Province.
