On Jan. 3, the Fourth Yiwu Member Congress of the Jiusan Society was held and attended by Zhuang Lingfei, Deputy Mayor of Jinhua City and Chairperson of the Jinhua Municipal Committee of the Jiusan Society, along with Yiwu leaders Yang Xian, Jia Yiming, Gao Jin, Bao Jianfeng, Wang Ruiquan, and Ding Guanghai.

The Congress elected the Fourth Yiwu Committee of the Jiusan Society, and at the subsequent First Meeting of the Fourth Yiwu Committee, the new chairperson and the vice-chairpersons were elected, and the secretary-general was appointed.

Over the past five years, the Yiwu Committee of the Jiusan Society has united the efforts of 141 members to make contributions in various fields such as science and technology, education, medical care, health, business, and law. It has fully leveraged its sectoral advantages, focused on the central tasks to serve the overall situation, played an active and effective role in areas such as political participation and discussion, democratic supervision, and social services, and earnestly performed its function of political participation, thus making significant contributions to the economic, cultural, and social development of Yiwu.
