On Mar. 6, a Party and government delegation of Zhuji City came to Yiwu for investigation and exchange and held a signing ceremony for the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Open and Interconnected High-quality Development between the Municipal Governments of Yiwu and Zhuji, aiming to deepen practical cooperation and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results between the two cities.

Wen Jianfei, Deputy Mayor of Jinhua City and Mayor of Yiwu City, and Zhang Kunlun, Mayor of Zhuji City, signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on behalf of their respective governments. According to the agreement, both sides will take the integrated development of the two places as the core, adhere to the principle of “advantage complementation, mutual promotion of work, and mutual progress in development”, and comprehensively deepen infrastructure connectivity, industrial collaboration, factor flow, and business and trade cooperation. They will also actively explore new mechanisms for cross-regional cooperation and development, establish a comprehensive strategic cooperation relationship, and build a regional collaboration demonstration zone.

During the investigation in Yiwu, the Party and government delegation of Zhuji successively visited the construction site of the Yiwu (Suxi) International Hub Port Project, Zhejiang Inventchip Technology Co., Ltd., District 5 of Yiwu International Trade Mart, and the Exhibition Hall of Global Digital Trade Center, experiencing Yiwu’s innovative ideas and effective measures in city-industry integration, industrial clusters, market transformation, and open development.
