In the first seven months of this year, Yiwu's total foreign trade import and export value reached 321.1 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of 19.7%. Among this total, exports amounted to 283.72 billion yuan, marking a 16.1% year-on-year increase, while imports reached 37.38 billion yuan, showing a significant year-on-year growth of 57.4%. Yiwu's share of the provincial import and export, exports, and imports stood at 11.5%, 13.9%, and 5.1%, respectively, with each share increasing by 1.6%, 1.7%, and 1.7 percentage points, respectively. The introduction of new models has brought forth new opportunities. The growth in Yiwu's import and export figures is closely linked to the transformation and upgrading of its export modes. Small-scale, multi-variety small commodity container exports are a crucial part of Yiwu's foreign trade orders. Yiwu's innovative market procurement trade method has simplified export trade. From January to July this year, Yiwu exported 217.46 billion yuan through market procurement trade, a 19.5% increase, accounting for 76.6% of Yiwu's total export value and contributing 90.4% to the city's export growth. General trade imports and exports also increased to 83.63 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 12.5%.
