Recently, the Yiwu Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) carried out the “Proposal Handling Consultation and CPPCC Members’ Visits to Departments for Informed Governance” Campaign. Leading CPPCC members of cultural and tourism proposals were invited to the Yiwu Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Sports and Tourism for face-to-face communication with relevant persons in charge to promote the implementation of related work.

The meeting pointed out that proposals are an important form for CPPCC members to participate in the deliberation and administration of state affairs and an important channel to serve the overall situation and boost work. Relevant departments should further enhance their ideological cognition, strengthen the leadership and organization of proposal work, and ensure timely, high-quality, and efficient handling. They should strengthen communication and coordination and properly consult and communicate with CPPCC members and co-handling units to deeply understand, grasp, and solve the difficulties and obstructions existing in the handling process. Moreover, they should promote the transformation of achievements and incorporate the opinions and suggestions of CPPCC members into specific work to jointly achieve new breakthroughs in proposal handling.
