Located in the Mian’niushan Mountain in the southwest of Lianfang Village, Niansanli Town, 5 li from Niansanli Town, the Jiulong Temple has Zhugong Cliff in the north, two small temples in the west and the Grave of Luobinwang in the south. Nestled in the continuous mountains, the Temple is one of the key scenic spots of the Huaxi Forest Park and an ideal resort.

Established in 1988 with an investment of over RMB2 million, the Temple has an area of over 50 mu with a building area of more than 3,800 square meters. Under the leadership of the superior Party and government officials, with the help of the Yiwu Buddhist Association, such building as the grand entrance, the bridge and ford, the Jiulong Temple, the Nine dragon screen, the grand hall, the Guanyin hall, the Ze’en hall, the Juxian Pavilion and the Jinzhong Pavilion as well as the offices and residences have been built successively in ten years or so. On December 18, 2000, it was approved by the Yiwu Administration for Ethnic and Religion Affairs as an official place for religious activities.

To introduce the Jiulong Temple to more people and build it into a high-level Buddhist temple with cultural touch, the City invested RMB150, 000 in 2001 to build the “Jiulong Gallery”. The 600-square-meter gallery, completed soon, owns over 200 paintings and calligraphy to satisfy different tastes.

The Jiulong Temple is in rapid development, with the Jiulong Park and the hotel to be built soon.
